LP 1969: ‘CROSBY, STILLS & NASH’ (Crosby, Stills & Nash)
El 29 de mayo de 1969 se publicó por Atlantic Records en EEUU el primer álbum homónimo del trío 'Crosby, Stills & Nash'. Alcanzó el nº6 de las listas de álbumes y se extrajeron dos singles que alcanzaron el Top30, 'Marrakesh Express' y 'Suite: Judy Blue Eyes'. El debut de Crosby Stills & Nash, fue uno de los más esperados del rock a finales de los 60. David Crosby, Stephen Stills y Graham Nash habían desertado públicamente de tres grupos consagrados (The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield y The Hollies). Esto era una novedad e introdujo el concepto de 'supergrupo'. Aunque los dos singles mencionados los situaron en el Top30, en principio encontraron su sitio en la contracultura: las emisoras de rock de FM y el circuito de Festivales (actuaron en el de Woodstock).
