LP 1970: ‘MOONDANCE’ (Van Morrison)

El 28 de febrero de 1970 se publicó 'Moondance', el tercer álbum de estudio del músico irlandés Van Morrison. El anterior álbum 'Astral Weeks' lo convirtió en artista de culto, pero 'Moondance' fue su primer disco de platino y el primero que entró en el top30.

CD 2000: 'TWO AGAINST NATURE' (Steely Dan)

El 29 de febrero del año 2000 se publicó el octavo álbum del dúo Steely Dan, formado por Donald Fagen y Walter Becker que tras veinte años volvían a un estudio para grabar lo que se puede considerar la continuación de 'Gaucho', su último trabajo juntos en 1980. Ellos mismos se encargaron asimismo de la  producción y los arreglos de la sección de viento y contaron con magníficos músicos de sesión como Hugh McCraken y Dean Parks a las guitarras, Lou Marini y Chris Potter (saxofón) y Vinnie Colaiuta y Ricky Lawson a la batería, entre muchos otros. El álbum recibió cuatro premios Grammy: Álbum del Año, Mejor Álbum de Pop Vocal, Mejor Ingeniería de Sonido y Mejor Interpretación Pop Vocal (dúo o grupo) por el primer single que se extrajo: 'Cousin Dupree'.
