LP 1973: 'LET'S GET IT ON' (Marvin Gaye)

El 28 de agosto de 1973 se publicó en Tamla Records el duodécimo álbum del músico y cantante Marvin Gaye, quien tras el gran éxito de su anterior trabajo 'What's Going On' con temas en cuyas letras mostraba su preocupación social, en este álbum volvió a las baladas románticas funk cargadas de franqueza sexual en sus textos como el tema que dio título al álbum, 'Come get to this' y 'You sure love to ball'. Fue su LP de mayor éxito comercial y ayudó a que Gaye se convirtiera en un icono sexual de la época. Considerado por muchos críticos uno de los mejores álbumes de todos los tiempos es sin lugar a dudas, un hito de la música soul.
